Baltimore Comic Con

With the Baltimore Comic Con almost here, I begin thinking about what to pack, and how to plan. We fly out in four short days, and there's a fair amount to do. Just so everyone knows, we plan on having a limited number of copies of Adam's new How To Draw DVD with us, as well as the new 2011 sketchbook that was debuted at San Diego Comic Con last month. We'll also have a nice amount of prints; I don't think anything sold out at San Diego, so we should have a full selection, even if some of the styles are now very limited.

Meanwhile, some people have been asking: Where's the eBay auction for the guaranteed sketches? We weren't 100% sure we were going to be able to do them for Baltimore. The truth is, its been a really busy year for Adam. His assignments have been nearly overwhelming,  as have the frequent convention appearances. Its become too difficult to draw at shows, and do all the signings and the head sketches that people want and have come to expect. So Adam ends up having to complete the eBay sketches from his studio either before or after the conventions. But with his 3-covers-a-month schedule right now, it doesn't allow much time for these sketches. As a result, Adam is behind on these pieces.

Everyone has been really gracious and kind, and extremely patient, for which we are very appreciative. But there comes a point where we wonder if it isn't best to not promise something that we have no idea when we'd be able to deliver. So with that in mind, we're going to slightly alter our auction plans for Baltimore. Rather than do a sketch for each day, which we are seeing that Adam cannot complete in the given time, we are going to do just one. I think the 2 days of the show should hopefully be long enough for Adam to do signings, panels, and head sketches, and still leave enough time for him to work on and complete a single commission.

So if you head over to eBay today, you'll see a 3-day auction for Adam's guaranteed sketch for Baltimore Comic Con. Please make sure to read the auction details carefully, as I am going to change things a bit specifically fro this event. Thanks everyone, and I look forward to seeing you all in Baltimore!
